The Exeter City Swimming Club Learn To Swim (LTS) programme aims to deliver an enjoyable and excellent Learn To Swim experience. We place a strong focus on quality teaching in a family friendly atmosphere. Our swimming lessons are highly structured and carried out by professional, qualified swimming instructors.
The LTS programme consists of one 30 minute session per week and children are assessed and grouped on ability. We offer lessons to children aged 3 years upwards. As well as instructors, we have swim assistants in the pool for the lower stage group lessons, so parents are not required to be in the pool.
Our group class sizes have a maximum of 6 children up to and including Stage 4. The Stage 5/6 groups in lane swimming have a maximum of 8 children. We can also offer 'one to one' and 'one to two' lessons.
We use the nationally recognised Swim England framework and award scheme up to Stage 5/6 (adapted to meet the requirements of our swimming club setting). As children progress, they have the option to progress through a seamless pathway from learning to swim to performance swimming. We also have squads for those who choose to continue swimming for enjoyment and fitness, therefore, there is no pressure to take the competitive route if it is not for you.
Costs:
Group lessons:
£9.85 per lesson
One to One lessons:
£21.50 per lesson
One to Two lessons:
£30 per lesson (£15.00 per child)
£22 compulsory annual membership fee is required for all swimmers (this includes Swim England registration that covers insurance to swim).
The total cost of the term depends on the number of lessons each term. You can pay for the full term in one go, or spread the cost by direct debit.
**Note: 60 days notice is required to terminate lessons**
