As a club, the health and well-being of our swimmers and their families, is paramount. We are following Government, Swim England, Public Health England and NHS advice and we are also monitoring the ever-changing situation very closely.
At this time, it is business as usual in terms of training, as we have not been advised to cease training sessions. This is with the obvious caveat of asking our members to maintain good hand and face hygiene, as per the well known advice we have been given. In addition to this, it is imperative that no person attends training if they feel unwell with any of the COVID-19 symptoms (as per the latest Government advice), or if they have been in recent contact with any person who has, or is suspected of having COVID-19. Please do not put others at risk.
At this time our jointly hosted meet with Taunton Deane SC that is taking place at Millfield School in two weeks time, is still going ahead. This could quite possibly change, depending on updated Government advice, so please continue to monitor the situation and we will ensure that everyone is informed in a timely manner.
In the meantime, please keep healthy and safe and continue to follow the advice of the Government and Public Health England. Here is the latest information from Swim England about swim events.
