In the true spirit of a small local swimming club, Exeter City Swimming Club is a friendly, thriving charitable club, dating back to 1895. With a membership of one hundred and fifty children drawn from within a fifty mile radius of the city of Exeter, the Club plays an important role for the sport in the South West with a high level of competition.
Exeter City Swimming Club offers a comprehensive swimming programme for children between the ages of four and eighteen plus. The earliest ‘Learn to Swim’ programme provides the first step in a seamless pathway for the non-swimmer through to the Performance programme for elite athletes, who swim competitively at county, regional and national levels.
The Club is proud of its excellent record in the consistent production of National, Junior National and World Stage team members.
