ECSC swimmers selected for Devon Skills Camp

Several of our young swimmers have been selected to attend the Devon Skills Camp. Promising swimmers in Devon in the 11 years age group are selected to attend as part of the swimmer pathway, where they have the opportunity for some focussed skills coaching provided by coaches from around Devon.

Our Junior Performance Lead Coach, Neil Shire and Swim England Senior Coach, has been selected as Head Coach for the Skills Camp for the second year running. Alongside the other skills coaches forming his team, he has selected the swimmers to attend. Neil says "This is a great opportunity for swimmers from a number of clubs around Devon to receive some really worthwhile coaching on important skills and processes which will help them to continue their progression on their pathway to success. There will also be inputs into the correct nutrition and some land based work, which are now both very important aspects to providing the best chance for a swimmer to reach their goals in the pool. I hope that the swimmers are looking forward to the camp and it is really pleasing that there are a number of Exeter swimmers that have achieved this excellent opportunity"

Well done to Neil and all the ECSC swimmers!
