ECSC swimmers selected for Devon Skills Camp

Several of our young swimmers have been selected to attend the Devon Skills Camp. Promising swimmers in Devon in the 11 years age group are selected to attend as part of the swimmer pathway, where they have the opportunity for some focussed skills coaching provided by coaches from around Devon. Our Junior Performance Lead Coach, Neil Shire and Swim England Senior Coach, has been selected as Head Coach for the Skills Camp for the second year running. Alongside the other skills coaches forming his team, he has selected the swimmers to attend. Neil says "This is a great opportunity for swimmers from a number of clubs around Devon to receive some really worthwhile coaching on important skills

Good Luck to our British Champs Qualifiers!

We would like to wish good luck to Performance Swimmers, Olivia Burrow, Alec White and Flora Perkin who have all qualified for this year's British Championships which are being held at Tolcross Pool, Glasgow. The events will be held from 16th - 21st April. The British Championships attract the best swimmers from across the British Isles aiming to be crowned British Champion in each event. Our swimmers have done amazingly well to qualify for the most prestigious event in the domestic British swimming calendar are competing in a number of events. Adrian is now a British Swimming Referee

We are really pleased to announce that another member of our club and long time swimming Official, Adrian White, has recently qualified as a British Swimming referee. This is a prestigious qualification, that takes years of experience and training. Adrian has been a dedicated Official for Exeter City Swimming Club for a number of years now and first got involved in officiating at swim meets due to both his boys swimming and wanting to give something back to the sport. Both his boys have had huge success in the pool, with eldest son Liam having flown Exeter's nest and moving to Swansea University where he has continued his swimming with even more success.
