ECSC Referee at Prestigious International Meet
One of our Referee's, Dave Avery, continued his top level swim meet attendance, where his knowledge, experience and reputation, has meant that yet again he was selected as one of the Officials for a top level international meet.
Dave was one of a select number of South West Region Officials, who attended and officiated at the GB round of the Para-Swimming International Meet World Series, which took place between 8th to 11th April 2021 at Sheffield's Ponds Forge Pool.
To quote the British Swimming website, "Hosting the World Series will mean Britain’s para-swimming stars can pit themselves against the best in the world, a prospect that will be even more important in the build up to Tokyo, given the lack of opportunities over the last 12 months".
A great experience for Dave and testament to his reputation within swimming that he was selected for this prestigious meet. Well done Dave from everyone at Exeter City Swimming Club.
