

Online Q & A Session with Olympian Antony James
We would like to announce that on Tuesday 23rd March at 6.30pm we had a live Q & A session on Zoom with Olympic swimmer Antony James, or AJ as he is more widely known. Lots of our club members joined him for this fantastic opportunity to find out what it takes to train towards your goals, how a time out of the water can be overcome and what it was like to make the Olympics. AJ missed a big chunk of swimming when he was 16 years old, being out of the water for nearly 10 month

We've done it!
We are so incredibly excited to announce that we have reached (and surpassed) our Crowdfunding target! Three days ago, we had a flurry of pledges, including two pledges of £250 from local businesses, which meant we met our target of £3000 with around 10 days to go. This is obviously amazing to have done this with days to spare. It really is testament to the support we have for the club and the generosity of everyone who pledged an amount, no matter how small, as it all helpe


We have nearly reached our target!
We have just received a £1500 pledge on our Aviva Community Fund from the Devon County Council Community Chest which has taken us really close to our £3000 target! We are so grateful for this. This was received after an additional funding application was submitted by our committee and involved quite a bit of time and effort to ensure that what was written appealed to Devon County Council. Thankfully it did and they agreed to award us this fantastic amount. We have just 11 day
